Is there any problem with CC from state to state? I read one case a while back where NJ threw some poor traveler in jail... didn't accept CC from another state [Pa, I think.]

Yes. Not all states allow CC. And even those that do license have differing laws and not all recognize and allow CC from other states. Fortunately the state line I crossed today reciprocates :)

We have 21 grandchildren. I can drive to see 8 of them and remain legal. For the other 13, let's just say we make 2 states of the trip obeying all traffic laws and avoid notice as much as possible. Our destination states are reciprocating, there is just no route to avoid unfriendly states.
