After action report: I drove past the site of the explosion in Newfield, NJ. There’s nothing there but debris. The street is blocked off except for local traffic. They appeared to be cleaning up debris, with police nearby. It appears the investigation phase is over. I know, however, that in addition to state and local police, ATF was there as well. I don’t know if FBI was involved. That’s actually I was looking for today. I’ll keep an eye out for published reports on the cause.
