Networks have been doing this for years. I randomly pulled up a youtube video of the 2016 debates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRlI2SQ0Ueg and randomly picked 24 minutes. It is so obvious that they digitally removed Hillary’s face and gave her a new younger one. Interestingly you can observe as she moves around their computerized face cannot always keep up and you suddenly see wrinkles appear and disappear especially around her neck. It is not “hard to detect”.

You’re right. There were ‘patches’ where it appears they blurred or smoothed her skin — and it’s especially noticeable on her neck.
