Agreed! Selling socialism to the young and idealistic is easy though. Hey friends and neighbors; how would you like it if you all made the same money and were guaranteed a job so you could focus more on what matters most in your life like family? If so; socialism is for you!
The only catch is it eventually leads to the things you mentioned but the seller always leaves that out of the sales pitch.

It is particularly easy in a culture where fathers are driven away from the family, or are forced to be a mom-like parent who never offers Dadly advice like, “If you’re gonna be stupid, you better learn to be tough” and “there ain’t no such thing as free lunch, kid” and the best of all: “hey guys, watch my dumbass kid. He’s about to learn not to ever do that again.”
