I think the best way to have a well founded belief system is to be your own devil’s advocate and to engage people with opposite point of views.
Most importantly it has to harmonious with reality and human nature. One sure way to know that your belief system sucks is if your constantly mad at the world.
That is why leftist are always raging at the world and wanting to change it. Their belief system is not in harmony with reality and are constantly wanting to change or deny reality.

I’ve found that when I am exposed to a new teaching on the internet, I’ll actually search out those teachers that disagree with it and try to find out which holds the most water. In most cases, it actually becomes pretty obvious, pretty quickly.
