If I were to be in charge of Convention of States
The Bill of Rights would be reaffirmed!
ALL government service, save military would be limited to 16 years. President would stay at eight.
16th and 17th Amendments would be repealed. National tax would be on consumption not income.
States would have to pay for their Congressional delegations if a Congress member or Senator wants a raise theyd have to request it from their state legislature.
ALL participants in courtroom trials and proceedings would be placed under oath. Judges, lawyers and witnesses. If a prosecutor (per Mueller) withholds exculpatory evidence from the defense, it would be felony perjury.
ALL CASE LAW that result from court decisions (Roe v. Wade, gay marriage, etc.) would have to be voted on by Congress and signed by the president to remain law. FAR too much law is adjudicated not legislated as required by the Constitution. This would be retroactive to all court decisions that are now treated as law.
Any child born is U.S.A. must have at least one citizen biological parent to be a birth citizen.
Those entering the country not through a port of entry (illegally) would not be eligible for asylum.
Any DACA or illegal residents given amnesty are never eligible to vote in any U.S. election local or national, unless they leave and apply legally.
Feel free to add some more
Good list, Fiddle.
And Congress will enact exactly how many of these, under whatever kind of push (or threat) we can apply? Damned few, Ill wager.
But a Convention of the States could.
