Fakebook sucks. I only keep it to keep in contact with former colleagues.
None of this will be reported in the MSM. Of course it fits with the MO established by the other socialist democrats in congress, all of whom become multi-millionaires trading on influence. All very wealth-driven, but real big on philanthropy when it comes to YOUR money.
I have nothing on my FB page at all. They don't know me from Adam.
My question is, how do you know that FB knows you're ultraconservative? How did you "discover" this fact?
I did this thing too.
I changed my name to “Celerity” on there. I’m still there. Look me up.
But they didn’t want a single name. They wanted my real name. They blocked me from the site and demand (Still) that I take a picture of my driver’s licence showing the name Celerity and submit it.
My friends all said I should just photoshop it. I’m really good at photoshop and I could make it look perfect.
Then I told them, rather angrily, “Why in the HELL would I ever, EVER submit to the will of, comply with and obey a F*CKING WEBSITE”
It’s a webpage for god’s sake. And they want to try and pull me around like a puppet ? I don’t think so.
I’m glad you’ve found a redeeming factor of your Facebook account. Hope you continue to enjoy sharing your info.
I just deleted/deactivated my FB account this weekend; actually feel better:-)

I have never posted a single thing on facebook other than dog stuff.
Even my chat with friends does not ever go to the subject of politics.
Go to “settings”, click on “Ads”, click on “Your Information”, select “Your Information”, select, “Your Categories”, second box in left column should be politics, mine says “Very Conservative”.
Something is amiss, I use FB the same way, FB never tells me I need more friends to post. Don’t know what....
Not “more friends to post”...more friends to READ the posts on my news feed page.
They are using the lack of friends to identify fake accounts. That is why they want to you have more friends before you can access certain things.
I have to ask why you care about trending on FB? I never ever go to that and I have been there for years.
I truly just use my FB to keep up with family and a few people I grew up with. I go to actual FB pages of the news I want to keep up with and like/follow that page, like FOX news, then I get their stuff. So far I have only liked the local TV channels, local paper, FOX news.
I don’t do trending so don’t know about it.
Make sure you make them delete your account. Merely deactivating it lets them keep all your info. Due to international agreements, if you ask them and go through the process to delete you account, they have to actually get rid of all your info.

Maybe I’m call it the wrong thing, it’s the main page where you see everyone’s post who’s sent you something...without having to go to each friend’s individual wall to see if they have posts.
Maybe it’s call “home page”, but I thought it was “news feed”.
I don’t care about “trending’, what ever that is...
No big deal. They kicked me off after I was there for a couple of years because I wouldn’t supply them with a govt issued photo ID.

They didn’t require that when I joined, nor would I have supplied them with it. There is no “non-shady” reason they would need my D/L, or other photo ID.
Do as I did. Delete your identity completely.
Why do you want to read Fakebook’s censored news??
