What I gather from the FE peeps is that they don’t believe the Southern Hemisphere exists... thus they are Flat Earth... and this is the reason for the endless “Airline Routes to Australia Are Faked” videos.

I wonder if there are any flat earthers in Australia. Anyway, Australia is an underground continent. That’s why it’s called the land down under. Then again, it’s also called the outback, so maybe that’s where it is. Geography is hard.

I was stationed at the 5th Defense Satellite Communication Squadron, Woomera Air Station, South Australia, Australia, from 1982-84.
I was there.
In fact, flew in and out numerous times. I watched out the plane window. Saw Hawaii, Fiji, American Samoa and even flew over New Caledonia. Went to New Zealand, too.
Drove myself from Woomera to Adelaide and back several times.
Hit a kangaroo and messed up the front end of my old Toyota with the steering wheel on the “wrong” side. Had to pay a guy several hundred Aussie dollars to get it right.
I even held a koala at Mount Lofty Game Park. Felt and saw Winter in July, hot Summer in December.
Not only are the Flat Earthers crazy, they’re Full of Sh1t.

I guess all those aircraft pulling SAC Alert in Darwin were figments of the flight crews’ imagination.

Considering the amount of lethal wildlife, from saltwater crocodiles to ultravenomous spuders, I think that they are taking the “Here there be dragons’ thing just a little too far.
