Why didn't the Apollo space capsules send off clouds of steam when they landed in the ocean? They had to have been hot, like in the picture of the Shuttle above, right? Nope, Apollo had an ablation thermal protection system, which caused a phase change of the material, and emitted hot gases, keeping the remaining material relatively cool compared to Shuttle tiles.
Also, the Apollo was on parachutes for the last 40,000 ft, which allowed the remaining material to cool even further.

I see Australia in the flat Earth map so the post is bull shit.

Nothing more than a drive to the extreme to discredit.

Still does not answer the question why the sun doesn’t get any smaller.

Still does not answer the question why the sun doesnt get any smaller. The sun is always going to be the same size. Just like your car/truck is still going to be the same size, even after you've walked a mile down the road, though it does look smaller from your POV when you turn back to look at it.
And you have no answer as to why the temperature doesn't match the tilt, right? It is a problem, isn't it.

Visually, my car looks smaller, as it approaches the vanishing point. Why doesn’t the sun look visibly smaller as it approaches the vanishing point, unless it remains at a nearly constant distance from the observer?
I have addressed many of your querys. You have yet to answer my question. Once we deal with this issue, we can move on to others.

Forced perspective.

If I put my thumb out directly in front of my face at noon or right before sunset, the sun is the same relative size to my thumb. You can even try this yourself.
If the sun is as close as your model says it should be, the relative size should be drastically different. So, why not? Also, in the model you have shown, the sun would never “set”, but would disappear before it arrived at the horizon.

LOL. Is the there a dark side of the moon?
To: kosciusko51
As a matter of fact, it’s all dark.

Visually, my car looks smaller, as it approaches the vanishing point. But it isn't, in and of itself, smaller, right?
See above...forced perspective. And that isn't
anywhere near the vanishing point. At the vanishing point you wouldn't be able to see it...unless you had a binoculars or a telephoto lens
which would bring it back into view!
Why doesnt the sun look visibly smaller as it approaches the vanishing point, unless it remains at a nearly constant distance from the observer? You're the answer man, you tell me what your reasoning is. I can't seem to satisfy you with anything.
Show me evidence, like I did with the encroaching darkness of the traveling sun.
You have yet to answer my question.
No answer seems to satisfy you. You don't accept perspective as an answer, you don't accept that an object reappears larger under magnification despite it being at or beyond the vanishing point, you don't accept forced perspective...I don't know what else will satisfy you.
You tell me what the answer is.
Once we deal with this issue, we can move on to others.
Please! Surely you can walk and chew gum at the same time. It seems to me that you don't want to address it.

If I use the same method to measure the relative size of an object, I can see if the object is getting closer or farther from me.
For instance, your car picture. If you hold out your thumb directly in front of you, you have your car size relative to that forced perspective. And if you move away from your car, and again put your thumb out in front of you the same way, the relative size of the car would seem smaller.
Now, we can apply this experiment to the sun (or the moon).
If you are correct, the relative size of the sun (or moon) should be different. If I am correct, they should be the same.
Do you concur, or disagree? If you disagree, how should the experiment be performed?

How do I know that video isn’t faked?
To: philman_36
But look at the diameter of the moon this
Moon video.
To: kosciusko51
And don't forget, we're looking at an object above us moving away from us. We're not looking at something on the same level. It skews the vanishing point view that we see with objects on the same plane as ourselves (road/car, train/tracks).

How do I know that video isnt faked? Is that a dodge?
I can look for some other desert videos (low moisture level you know)...or will you simply question their veracity as well so that nothing I present is acceptable?

No, it is not a dodge. How do I know if the poster was not using some wide angle lens that distorted the video? Also, the light from the sun appears to be oversaturated in the early portion of the video, making the sun appear larger.
I outlined an experiment to test the theory in #195.
