You’re as big a sucker as we are. We keep a heat lamp under the deck for a couple of feral cats who live with us.

Our family had pet raccoons when I was growing up. They were fun until the day I tried to coax one out from under the neighbor’s porch. Suddenly my neighbor came out of the door with a shotgun and commanded, “Get on the porch. Now!” A rabid raccoon (not mine) rushed out with a foaming mouth. She killed it and was forced to shoot my pet too. That was the last one I had.
