“She’s got her tits in a wringer about this thing...”
Over forty years ago someone told me “She’s colder than a witch’s tit”. Haven’t heard in since.
Up here, “Colder than a witch’s tit” is still occasionally heard, but not in mixed company!
For me, it was funny how I remembered that saying “tits in a wringer”. I had not thought of it in decades, the saying was lost to the fog of time, and I was walking through a antique store, and there was a wringer. A real one with the rollers and big handle all attached to the top of a large tin bucket, and boom...it came right back to me!
