Cuomo law lets undocumented immigrants select guardians for kids

Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Wednesday that allows undocumented immigrants facing deportation to select legal guardians for their children.

The law extends rights already given to parents facing terminal or debilitating illnesses or death.

Parents in those circumstances can petition the Surrogate Court for “standby guardians.” The same rules now apply to parents who are separated from their children because of administrative proceedings and potential deportation from New York state.

How can this even be legal? Of course, being within the bounds of the law never bothered this blatant corrupt criminal posing as New York's governor. He never met a law he didn't like breaking when it suited his libtard agenda. Now taxpayers have to foot the bill for "guardians" appointed by the illegal criminal invaders sneaking into our country to watch over their kids while they are processed for their illegality and hopefully deported. So Cuomo IS in favor of separating parents from children, so long as the parents appoint the guardians. But hey, Cuomo---the children are illegals, too. What is to prevent the "guardians" from spiriting them away, never to be found, and thus getting away with illegally entering our country and helping themselves to benefits they have no business receiving? How is this "law" possibly legal? I'd call it aiding and abetting felons. And how do you know that these "guardians" aren't just pimps for the kids spirited into this country for sex slaves and other human trafficking? And the state's "Liberty Defense Fund", which Cuomo brags about--does it use taxpayer money to defend those who broke our laws? How is that not aiding and abetting felons as well?

Glad I left upstate NY in the mid 1950’s when it was 99% American citizens and the biggest problem was French Canadians living in my grandparents summer camp and trashing it in the winter. Things were American then.
