Maybe I'm dense but....huh? R U saying JFK Jr. was NOT a threat to HRC? Was it true that Jr. wanted a Senate seat? I don't know but Jr. would have beaten HRC like a rented mule in a Senate seat primary.
It’s been roughly 20 years since JFK Jr’s plane crash, and I’m operating on old memories. I don’t remember JFK Jr. seriously talking about the NY Senate seat that Hillary used as her stepping stone. IIRC, he was wrapped up in some magazine venture. If he was actively seeking that office, don’t you think the publicity machine would have been in high gear?
Now, if you’re asking if HRC would have considered taking him out if he was an obvious threat to her plans—well, sure, the thought would have entered her mind.
But, I’ve also read accounts that said he made a late-evening decision, prompted by his wife, to fly into deteriorating weather. That sounds like a free-will mistake.
