The freemasons one is easy. A substantial fraction of LEO and Fire are freemasons. It’s part of being “in the club.” I think every cop I ever got to know on more than a “here’s your traffic citation” basis was a freemason. Not a huge sample, but still, 20 out of 20 - what are the chances of THAT?
