Squall is a term for a Water Storm Event. IMO this refers to The Storm and White would represent the Good guys.

A white squall is an intense storm that appears suddenly out of a clear blue sky. There’s a movie about a nautical training ship that was hit by one of these.
They’re real. I’ve been in one.
