No kidding. Me and my friends used to run home form school in fifth grade to watch it.

💿I ran a turntable at the direction of a music director. I was sitting at home in N. Jersey with my wife and kids and the phone rang and begged me to take a cab in to NYC right away. They were short an audio tech for whatever reason. I didn't even know that soaps used recorded (disk) music at the time. The musician would indicate what cut he wanted, I would cue it up with the TT running and on his / her cue I would 'slip' the disk for the music. I guess they liked the way I followed directions.
