Just bought a 50 gal. power vented NG water heater for $835 from a box store. A power vented water heater is one of the most expensive types. Got a quote of about $600 for install and removal. I thought the install cost was pretty high. I haven’t had it installed yet.
I was looking to replace my current Rheem DV. I bought and replaced my original Rheem with my current Rheem, back in 2003. Rheem cost for a new DV now is about 1800 for the unit.
