I’ve been around FR since 1998 and have admitted many times so who is the one being condescending?
You have way too much nuance about alt-right for my liking. Nuance IS a liberal thing. By your own posting it ties white supremacy to the alt-right. That is what was intended to do and tie today’s good Constitutional conservatism to white supremacy.
Why do you think Hilliary Rotten Clinton and other deep staters uses that phrase all the time???? It is obviously trying to marginalize good freedom-loving conservatives, no doubt. Keep nuancing this fake alt-right and I will continue to post why I don’t trust it or you.

Nuance IS a liberal thingHistory is a useful tool for people who want to understand things.
Think of all the pain that could have been spared if guys like Steve Bannon would only have investigated the term Alt Right, and had a little more "nuance" in choosing their labels.
Yes, the Alt Right is White Nationalist, which is far outside mainstream conservatism, which is why it was a spectacular failure for so many people to self-identify with that term (and use the iconography of the movement, like Pepe). We're not talking inconsequential people either. Steve Bannon, as the poster child.
Yes, I agree that the Left uses the term Alt Right to try to demonize all Conservatives. It's unfortunate that people walked right into that trap, but they did.
On the other hand: the Left will *always* use whatever terms they can to demonize the right. "Gun Nuts" "The Gun Lobby" "racists" "bigots" "homophobe" "islamophobe".
Mostly these terms are meaningless, or deliberately misleading on closer inspection.
Having Hillary give a speech denouncing a cartoon frog was one of the highlights of the campaign, and it hurt her badly. It was not a winning tactic.
Please continue to post what ever you like. As I stated previously I'm not here to please you.
