Ah yes, the ad hominem. A desperate move but a predictable one.
As for the federal case bit, it's not me making the case at all, it's the CBS (one of three major broadcast networks) affiliate in LA (ie the nation's second largest media market and possibly the first if their actual catchment area is measured).
To claim that a blogger isn't making a demand and the station isn't amplifying that demand is to twist reality beyond recognition. A request would have gone to Disney or the cinema and we would have never heard about it. Broadcasting it absolutely transforms it into a demand.
My 'world view' is that people are responsible for themselves and that, when able, they should remove themselves from uncomfortable or threatening situations. Yes, it's shocking and revolutionary but I guess I'm old fashioned that way in the same way I tire of cutting huge labels off electrical cords because the trial lawyers and corporate counsels have the 'world view' that every last person, especially people making the conscious decision to purchase such products, are complete idiots.
