I'm in the second week of a visit to Canada. Donald Trump owns the media here more even than in the U.S. The first week it was all about G-7 and Trumps takedown of Baby Justin. This week it's all about "kids in cages" and Trump's comments on trade policy. Some of Trump's comments on trade (e.g., "scuffed shoes") don't make a lot of sense, but I have a feeling he's just trolling the media. He's acting dumb to make the media stand up and beg. Meanwhile, much more important things are going on behind the scenes (as witnessed by Q).
