WOW. I had no idea what homosexuality was when I was growing up! I also had a great-aunt and have a cousin whose names were/are Gay and another cousin named Gaynelle. Guess I was sheltered.
all I know is my dad would be furious if we ever called each other queer!....we didn't know what it meant...
