Do you think ANYBODY in 1959 would have thought of the same connotations to the words ‘lube’ and ‘rack’ as they have today? Dunno.

ANYBODY in 1959

Wait, I'm thinking the greasers (a term we used in the 70's to describe the 50's thugs, they wore white t-shrts with their Marlboros tucked in their sleeves and made their own skinny jeans with clothes pins (pegged) and their hair was all Brill-creamed in a duck's ass and they worked at the local garage or just hung out there cos it was a place where they were cool

...yeah, those guys knew what a "rack" was. Lube job...I don't think so.

All going to say that when polite society says "Oh my, how shocking! No one would ever do that!" Yes, yes the low rungs on society's totem pole have done/said/thought that.
