Well, bless your heart, you poor darlin’. So you are bringing your childhood disappointments into this discussion... Ya do realize that magic shows are scams. Oh, I know. Magic is an illusion, a sleight of hand. OH. MY. That is exactly what DS is doing to US.

I did magic in my youth, too. I had some good tricks.
