Allies are white cis people who support LGBTQRSTUVW people and people of color. It’s like the top level of virtueship and it can lower your White Privilege quotient.
I guess I’m not an ally. I’m disgusted by those LGBTQIDIOTs who want to force their sex lives down our throats (now there’s a risky metaphor!). Whatever they are going to do in private, I wish they would leave it in private like I do with my own personal life.
