Needless destruction of something that is important culturally to my generation in particular. Star Wars came in with Reagan. It was a new day. Star Trek was sort of immersive, but Star Wars was fully immersive. Can’t remember the name of the author, I think it was Mark Dean Foster who wrote all the novels that built and offshot on the Star Wars worlds.

Goes back to something more fundamental though: Around 1979 the argument was that a world governed by women would be more evolved. At the time, I didn’t have any evidence to indicate that might not be true, that women could contribute something missing that men could not.
