Now that I think of it, the doorknob is about the only place in the modern domicile that’s easily accessible and ubiquitous. Maybe a closet bar - and I think that’s where they found Carradine. But unless you could hang from a ceiling fan, I don’t see how you could get a rope to hang down from above.
