I have definite normalcy bias as my baseline, rather I DID have that bias....no longer...

I entertain all possibilities....

we all thought that the Boys on the Tracks was odd and perhaps coincidental until one of the Toon people recently attested to it being murder.

after reading Neon, it could be that Bourdain was forced to commit suicide under duress from the cabal OR from being named on a list of perverts...

either way, it stinks to high heaven...

The thing about bias is that it’s impossible to get rid of, because it’s merely your point of view. For example you have a conservative bias because you prefer conservatism to liberalsn. In science, recognizing that it’s impossible to be rid of completely, one is expected to evaluate their biases and correct for them in a systematic way. That’s what I try to do when sorting out the news.

My thoughts- Bourdain was “killed” because his girlfriend claimed Weinstein raped her. “They” were sending a message to her - we will kill people you love. Same thing with Spade - I read her husband was investigating pedos, so they killed someone he loved. Thus the reason in Spade’s suicide note to her daughter “ask your dad”.
