How do 408 votes come up? I didn’t realize there were that many congressmen. Am I missing something? Thanks
There are 435 members in the House and 100 members in the Senate. The house is determined by population and therefore, the number of representatives from each state can change…. However, the total number for members in the House is consistent and is always set at 435.
