Folks - you know this Papadopolous "lure" - there has been this recently changed statement by Downer, the AUS ambassador & Clinton Foundation donor - it was first said that Papadopolous told Downer that he'd heard about HRC e-mails; then Downer is recently reported to have said, no, he said that they had "dirt" on HRC.
Now we know that the op against Trump campaign (and likely other frontrunners as well?) began in 2015, long before DNC "hack" (SR 187).

They opened a counterintelligence op because Papadopolous might get some "dirt" on HRC? seriously? That doesn't wash! The justification for it being CI was that it involved an alleged "hack"!
Take away the "hack" and it's political on its face. And if/as they weren't doing the same thing to HRC campaign about Trump then it's all the more so. Are we to believe with Stormy on the scene there was no supposed "dirt" on DJT that "Russians" might be trying to shop to HRC / DNC? Now the questions are even more relevant - Why wouldn't the same apply? That IS the fake "dossier"! Why wouldn't they launch "lures" for HRC campaign? They didn't need to do Bernie because it's already been revealed that DNC + nomination was rigged by HRC.
It now appears all the more that this op against Trump began long before any alleged "hack" - that hadn't happened and so the "lure" was for "dirt". It's only after the DNC was breached (SR 187) and Rogers had shut down No Such Agency for outside contractors (FusionGPS) that they modified their purported "rationale".

NO DEALS! Absolutely no deals. I have also been having the feeling lately that perhaps all of the Deepstate was NOT on board with Hillary being POTUS. I think she may have scared some of them and they realized with that much power she would never be satisfied with just a role, she would want it all, and would bite her benefactors. They knew that in 2008 as well, and backed Obama.
