Careful when you mention the USS Liberty. Some people are likely to jump down your throat and call you an anti-semite.
All I will say is that I don't think it was an accident, but I'm not sure who caused it. I'm thinking it was a 'created' incident that did not help those in the U.S supporting Israel at all.
