President Donald Trump has endorsed John Cox for CA Governor. Lots of other races up for grabs.
Pray for California.
Governor: John Cox (R)
Lietuneant Governor: Lydia Ortega (R)
Sec of State: Mark P. Mueser (R)
Controller: Konstantino Roditis (R)
Treasurer: Jack M. Guerrero (R)
Attorney General: Eric Early (R)
Insurance Commissioner: Steve Poizner (R)
United States Senator: Erin Cruz (R)
LA County Sheriff: Bob Lindsey
Proposition 68: No
Proposition 69: Yes
Proposition 70: No
Proposition 71: Yes
Proposition 72: Yes
Lydia Ortega, Eric Early, and Erin Moore presented themselves and their platforms well on videos online. I chose them over rival Republicans who may have had more official backing by state pro-life/GOP.
Other measures and candidates were district specific. There were no Republicans running for various positions within mine so I went with "lesser of two evils" (ie: like choosing the sweet idealistic Bernie Sanders/Green Party college kid over the establishment Democrat who has Kamala Harris' backing etc...) No judgments please. :)
I voted pretty much the same as you. Why did you vote no on Proposition 70? I had a hard time figuring that one out.
I didn’t vote for Cox. He is a huge RINO. I opted for Travis Allen. At least he’s up front, especially when calling Gavin out as a trust issue who you can’t trust your state with, let alone your wife.
Oops typo. Erin Cruz* for Senator. (Dianne Feinstein’s seat.)
Lydia Ortega for Lt. Gov: https://youtu.be/Q2pS_h5gXlE
Eric Early for Atty General: https://youtu.be/4xrAXJ1s1Wo
Erin Cruz for US Senator: https://youtu.be/C37czjjKnzE
I voted No on Prop 70 because Climate Change alarmist types supported it.

Unfortunately, ya wasted your vote. Not happening for Allen.
How I voted:
Governor—Travis Allen
Lt. Governor—David Hernandez
Attorney General—Steven Bailey
Secretary of State—Mark Meuser
Treasurer—Jack Guerrero
Insurance Commissioner—Steve Poizner
US Senate—Tom Palzer
Orange County Assessor—Richard Ramirez
Propositions:
68—No
69—No
70—Yes
71—No
72—Yes
John Quincy Adams
Amen!
John Quincy Adams? These are different times, in a state which does not even resemble old America. At this time, not voting for Cox will without doubt put Gavin Newsom in as governor. End of story.
Principle is great, but in this case it won’t get ya no where in venues like CA.
2 votes for Cox in my house.
Btw, are you in CA?
No bonds for nuthin. No on 68.
Placer County Measure E ... community college bonds:
No
State Board of Equalization, District 2: Mark Burns
I voted the same state candidates as you did-except I didn’t vote for the Treasurer and Insurance Commisioner (left these two blank) or LA Sheriff (I live in Ventura Co.)
I thought he would be good but I got mailers that were paid for by villagrossa. So I voted Cox.
Btw, are you in CA?
Why the silence?
Not sure where you got that about Prop. 70...it was heavily opposed by environmental groups:
We were “Yes” on 70 and “No” on all the other props. (#72 sounded good but is a “camel’s nose under the tent” situation...rainwater collection systems would have to be registered with the govt. with the possibility of being shut down/taxed later...plus it was a “recommendation to the legislature” not an actual law).
Btw, compared to San Francisco's Gavin Newsom, Cox might as well be Trump. CA has a small chance to turn this around. But it's a chance with Cox. Allen has zip chance.
Thanks for your east coast advice, but no thanks.
I will be shocked, shocked I tell you, if a single R is elected.
