If it isn’t thought of as a “Great” movie, folks are just going to wait for it to come out on DVD, rather than plunking down $40+ in a theater.
Nah, that’s not true.... None of the Prequels were ever considered great and they all made Lucas Billions...
LUCASFILM insulted their audience.... they are paying the price for that even if no one wants to admit it.
Far far worse films than Solo have made far more money... This is clearly a fan revolt, nothing more, nothing less.
