The “Greatest Generation” allowed the WH to be occupied by Soviet agents. If not FDR himself, then he was a stupid dupe of Stalin’s agents all around him.
USSR won WWII, not the US. USSR got half of Europe, all of China and gift-wrapped nuclear weapons.
Normandy invasion should never have happened. U.S. pulled out of Europe (Italy etc.) to re-attack Europe from a direction that would allow Soviets to take half the continent.
Even so, U.S. forces paused to let Soviets enter Germany.
It all came out through broken Soviet codes and files spilled by Yeltsen. Soviet agents included Harry Dexter White, Harry Hopkins (FDR’s “co-President”), Alger Hiss and thousands of others.
“Greatest Generation” was suckered into demonizing those patriots like Joe McCarthy who tried to save America.
This whole sick episode of U.S. history (FDR-Soviet Administration and its aftermath) needs to be understood.
