I expect that -- as we get more Qcrumbs pointing us toward DScritters to find dirt on -- we'll all return to "beating on the enemy ...instead of each other"...

I used to belong in a usenet group, MFW (Miscellaneous Fitness & Weights). This was 25 years ago, thus the usenet format. Anyway, as you might expect, there was always an aggressive banter among the regulars, likely induced by excess testosterone and such.

Anyway, occasionally, a newbie would challenge the status quo and raise some serious insult exchanges. One comment that always stuck out to me was this: "We may hate each other, but we hate you more".

Likewise, while we exchange the occasional unpleasantry here and there, the true enemy remains the deep state, and its various accolades.

All projects eventually settle into the 80/20 rule: 20% of the participants drag in 80% of the meat. This one fell early due to the nebulous scope.

“We may hate each other, but we hate you more”.

Or like that @slim code:

Me against my brother
My brother and me against our father
Our family against our tribe
Our tribe against the world.
