Hollywoods left-leaning politics has made the industry a bête noire among conservatives for decades. But Netflix has made some recent moves that have especially rankled Republicans.
In March, the streamer named Susan Rice former national security adviser to President Obama, and a conservative target in the Bengazi scandal to its board of directors. Last month, Netflix officially announced an exclusive multiyear deal with the Obamas Higher Ground Productions for original programming. And last week, it premiered The Break with Michelle Wolf a late-night-style show from the comedian who delivered a blistering takedown of the Trump administration and other conservative politicos at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.

Media entity serving customers of a nation decide to structure political programming into their product line, run by zealous leftist politicians appointed to executive positions at said entity.
Now why on earth would entity lose 40% of its customers?
I expect the good shows they produce, such as the Daredevils and the Mindhunters to all look more like trash like Sense8. There is no reason that Rice and the Obummers should be on the board.
Thanks :D
Pass it on.
Right-—”they said” Malia’s job was rating scripts.

.....but when you cancel the service, do you actually speak to a real live person, so you can tell them where they can shove their programming?

Cancelled Netflix -
Anybody use REDBOX for dvd rentals? Pros - Cons?
I just dropped Netflix this month and gave Obama and Rice as reason under “Other”. You had better believe that they do analysis on the numbers for this. Heck, that’s how they build the recommendation engine for proposing movies to you.
Shocking, considering they've hired the Obozos. And Susan Rice too I believe.
“Republicans Perception of the Brand Has Dropped...”
Well duh. Susan Rice. Two Obamas.
Netflix cares more about viewership of specific shows than they do about cancellations. I know it's ironic, but they will change their marketing if people aren't watching certain shows. That's why Chelsea Handler's show was given the axe, and rumors are that Letterman's interview series is on the hot seat as well.
Netflix is still an excellent deal.
No. I don't have time to run back and forth to a movie rental box and pay late fees if I miss it. I can easily stream any movie from Fandango or Google Play.
Last year, my sister and her husband gave me access to their Netflix account. After browsing through the “offerings” - or should I say, offal- I never used it. Sheesh, what mindless trash.
I dropped two Obamas this morning before I took a shower.
I told them why I cancelled and they were happy to make it take effect that hour lol. I dropped the hammer on Rice and their commie ways.
Then there was "Orange is the new black" which was also very good. There were a few others too, the movie selections however were just the same repetitive crap with very little new. When I first joined Netflix it was for the movies available online. I don't think they've changed that selection in quite awhile. That sealed my decision to cancel it months ago.
Example: Chelsea C takes in $250k for being on Expedia board.
I think they should change their name from Netflix to NetObama. Truth in advertising!!!
Too big to fail now. Sadly, even with just half its potential audience buying its service, they will still make money and they know it. They can now do as they please.
Of course one day their bill will come due. It’s always a good time to watch arrogant turds get flushed.
