They were Great Cars. I had the Volare wagon. 318. Super roomy. Super simple under the hood. Too bad for the zero corrosion technology applied to the body and frame. They almost rusted on the dealer lot.

Paint technology is vastly improved today over cars on the 70’s. Body rot is one of those items I don’t miss.
I still hear that commercial in my head from time to time. Seems like it was just a few years ago. Time flies.
