I discovered at an early age that I could make the moon dimmer by staring at it.

When I was told that lusting after a woman in my heart was as sinful as lusting after her right out loud, I decided that when they pass the collection plate at church, I’ll only THINK about putting something in it. So far, it seems to be working.

Why then, don't we all see a different fundamental reality? Why can't some of us walk through walls? Why is the pattern of the cosmos consistently recognizable from generation to generation?

There appears to be continuity through time.

Time? "Ah, there's the rub."

It's relative too.

Though acoustical waves are emitted in that process, regardless.

IF there were no humans on earth and no life able to observe the Earth, it would still be. There are beings in a different spacetime coordinate system who observe the Earth and all that is in it. Not to mention the Creator of it all observes it all all the time.

There may be something like that going on.

A lot of people for a long time have held to the belief that your thoughts and words shape your reality. I’ve long believed that that’s not just a psychological phenomenon, but a physical one. It’s not just metaphorically true, it’s literally true.

And why should we be surprised at that? God made everything by speaking it. We are not God...but we are created in His image. The thing we each have that is ourself (the soul) is from Him and seeing that it is in His image, it (we) shares some traits with Him.

His words can create or destroy. So also can ours, not on the same scale or to the same degree, but the effect our words has is very real.

QM finally provides the answer to the question: “if a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?”

A: If a mind is not present to “measure” the event, apparently not.
............
The more accurate answer to the question is a question: How do you know. (that the tree fell in the forest.)

Take it even further. Tesla maint that the laws of quantum physics and mechanics were ultimately changeable to man’s needs. Many scientists are now beginning to agree with this possibility. Think of the implications. There is scientific proof of up to eleven dimensions.
Observation must count as measurement as observation leads to conclusion.

Well stated.

Observations may change things, but usually not at the macro level unless there is both a simultaneous observation that is able to have quantum effects, plus a very strong “butterfly effect” type thing that can result in a quick effect (not taking eons to occur) large enough to be observable at a macro level.

The citations do not support the claim that we all (or just me if it turns out that you are all my creation) make our own universes.

Those here noting that these claims look like a “scientific” version of “solipsism” (which I had to look up, but once looked up I realized I know people who subscribe to it) would seem to be correct.

Some people, usually the atheist types, seem to WANT a “solipsism” type world+physics to be true.

The world is indeed weird to us humans. Light, the first thing God made (it seems to me he did that and all physics fell into place), is both a particle and a wave simultaneously, and one photon can go through 2 holes at once, if there are two holes to go through. It is yet another counterintuitive thing, a QM thing. But we only appreciate that when we shoot one photon at a time, nothing like that occurs on the macro level when we shine a light. Quantum is not generally macro. We are macro creatures. When we macro people make observations QM does NOT cause us to create universes unto ourselves. That is not supported.

So I agree with others that God exists. And others exist, and neither they nor I are God.

It’s like binge watching all the episodes of a TV series and finding the story arc at the half-point totally diverges from memory. Does that mean one isn’t currently living in the same universe as when watching the first running of the series over a decade ago???
