Our stupid cable company went all digital. Tv will only work with a box. I woke up a little over a month ago and 3 of our TVs wouldn’t work. I called them. You need a box on each tv now. The first one is free but every one after that is $5 (?) per month. I told them to stick it you nowhere. That they’re not getting anymore money from me and went and bought antennas. One of the stations I get is Laff and they play the Roseanne show all the time. Was just wondering if they’ll pull it.
That’s an old trick they play to charge for each TV.
I ditched cable and satellite many years ago, so many years I forget exactly which year but it was about 2009.
If you have high-speed internet in your region, get that instead. If you are low-income, they should offer a huge discount. Here in Seattle, low/fixed income people can get high-speed unlimited internet for $9.99 a month, kid you not.
If Comcast or whoever offer high-speed internet in our area, THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU BUNDLED SERVICES, like phone and TV programming (HBO, PBS, etc.)
Tell them NOT ONLY NO BUT HELL NO!
Get only high-speed internet. You can get pretty much all you need to watch or enjoy with high-speed internet alone.
