I like Norman Reedus (”Daryl”), both the actor and the character, but I'm doubtful that Daryl can carry the series in the lead role.

Lauren Cohan (”Maggie”) is another favorite for me, but the whole story-line has become absurdly repetitive, so even if Maggie and Rick stayed, I think the show would get canceled anyway.

“Fear the Walking Dead” had a brilliant retrospective episode two weeks ago when we got to meet “Laura” (aka “Naomi”) and “John Dorrie” up close at John's creek side cabin.

Then, the wheels immediately fell off the story-line again a week ago when Alicia, and Strand, and Nick's old girlfriend decide to stage an insane face-to-face shoot out with about 25 “Vultures.”

So, what happens?

Alicia decides to shoot “Laura-Naomi” and John leaps in front of Laura and takes the bullet.

So, John, the most interesting character introduced in either series in many years, is now lying on the ground with a bullet in his chest!

I'm about to give up on both of these programs.

Do you know how Morgan ended up on the other side of the continent? Via the Garbage Pail Kid’s helicopter???

They need to make sure he lives. Carl survived getting gut shot with a deer rifle and he wasn’t half as interesting as John. Definitely need a true quickdraw artist in the Zpoc!

I odn’t think John will die. He and Morgan have brought the series back to life.
