I didn’t take it as racist. I had to look up Jarrett’s ethnicity. She is a multi-ethnic American born in Iran. She’s probably more white than black.
Barr should have been sensitive to the fact that comparing blacks to apes / monkeys has been a common racial insult historically. She should have used lizards rather than apes for her comparison. Jarrett clearly has some lizard in her DNA.

Roseanne did the civilized adult thing by apologizing for her statement, while ABC did the uncivilized, childish thing by refusing to accept her apology and also going into a suicidal rage that will cost the network millions of dollars and alienate Rosanne’s twenty-two million viewers.
Compared to ABC executives, apes are geniuses. Did anyone ever see an ape destroying a banana tree so that there would be less food available to eat?

The difference is like heaven and hell. Islam took a dark fork in the road and was lost to this day with not much chance of ever being redeemed. It can happen in peoples lives which is how Islam got started. One person chose the wrong fork in the road of his life.

I saw somebody post on FR that FOX (not FOX News) is thinking of picking up the show, but I doubt it. MSM is on the roll, prohibiting old reruns of her previous shows. They want to make sure that nobody dares to speak out in favor of Trump. Reminds me of North Korea.
