It is also possible that the Navy is trying to keep this story in the public eye.

Tyler Rogoway, the defense industry reporter, is trying to establish the provenance of the subject "executive report." He is one of the most highly regarded of this field.

Several folks have suggested that this is part of the long awaited "disclosure" by the military as to what they know.

I guess we'll find out soon enough.
