I don’t know what it is, but Hollywood men today look like oversized kids. The only exception would be of course Dwayne Johnson and Chris Pratt, who IMO SHOULD HAVE been Han Solo (as well as the next Indiana Jones). You look at Eastwood, Reynolds, Stallone, and Harrison Ford back in the day compared to the men now, and these men today can’t hold the men of yesteryear’s jock straps. This guy in the Solo movie looks like a fricking teenager.

Or...

Kirk Douglas
John Wayne
Charlton Heston
Glenn Ford
Steve McQueen
Cliff Robertson
Robert Mitchum
Lee Marvin
James Coburn
Charles Bronson
Paul Newman

Who else have we missed?

Yeah my female date commented that the actor was much better looking than Harrison Ford but much less charisma.

He seemed to be trying too hard with his smirks and facial expressions and it came off forced. He just didn’t look particularly rugged and athletic. Ford’s portrayal set the bar high.

John Wayne. Ward Bond. Clint Walker. Claude Akins. Lee Marvin. Chuck Conners. James Garner. Steve McQueen. James Arness. Gregory Peck. Cary Grant. James Stewart. Robert Mitchum. Burt Lancaster.

A-list or B-list, they were real men playing real men. They were bigger than life. Now they are smaller than life.

Now we have, at best, Rock Hudson, and at worst, Montgomery Clift, as leading men.

There are a few exceptions: Hugh Jackman. Chris Pratt.
