It’s from Dennis. Dennis is always careful to say “the left” or “leftists” and I’ve started doing it too. There may be very few liberals these days, as the left stole that word. But a liberal accepts all viewpoints and ideas even if he doesn’t share them. A liberal welcomes open expression of belief. A liberal reveres freedom of speech.
There are very few liberals in politics today, and that's because the dem party has been taken over by progressives. While some are willing to saw it publicly, they can only do so because they misunderstand the goals of progressives. Progressives are the party of Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. The only thing that "progresses" under that political idealogy are the power and control of the government over individuals. Progressives are borderline totalitarians. By definition, they have no respect for a Constitution.
