Ben Shapiro gives some insightful advice on how to debate a Leftist in this 21 minute video. For instance, he uses the term Leftist instead of Liberal. He also describes socialism in one concise statement.
A Liberal is just a couple notches below a Democrat.
While these strategies are wise, they won’t work against leftists or Gullibles. Leftists are sneaky and will just keep coming back with their pet phrases and call you names. Leftism is their religion. You can’t use these 10 tactics to argue against a Christian that Christianity is wrong / doesn’t exist. So neither can logical tactics help you win against a believing leftist.
You will madden a Gullible. They will start to see their belief in leftism they sucked from their tv and peers is built on nothing, and they will dig in and defend and again resort to ad hominem. I do not think anything but day in day out neutral logic pounding will convince a Gullible that they were gullible.
I was a Gullible. I was supposed to be a liberal according to every mainstream thing I read or saw, so I was one. I didn’t really care but I wanted to be correct so I went with it, because EducationalSystemFrom2to22. Right? How did I become a common sense conservative, then? No conservative tried one on one to logically sway me.
1. I had a baby. Started to think about what I wanted for him. Common sense and goodness started to creep in when I thought about the world for someone whom I loved more than anything.
2. I got laid off in a socialist country. This was the #1 thing that drove me to principles of economic freedom. I got to stay home with my baby full time and earn 90% of my salary, then it went down to 80%, then at 2 years it was around 70%. My best friend was doing the same thing with her baby. It just wasn’t right.
3. I had heard of this radio Shock Jock Rush Limbaugh. I tuned in to hear the monster I’d heard about when I got back to the states. What? Where was the raving lunacy? I actually agreed with everything he said, he was funny, and I didn’t “go on the defensive” alone in my car. I just kept listening. And agreeing. And starting to read more about politics on my own and come to some new conclusions.
That last point is huge because when an individual you KNOW comes at you, you of course gather a defensive attitude. When some guy is blabbing on the radio, you are more receptive because no one is watching. Sure, you can yell at the radio, but maybe one day you don’t any more because the guy just said something smart and funny and true...
I prefer effort reddistribution myself...
If you really want to rattle progressives - call them snowflakes....
Using the word “liberal” is falling into the left’s trap of distorting the meaning of words (like progressive, undocumented... and lastly secret informant). “Liberal” is used in Australia or in France in its real and original meaning: the Liberal Party of Australia is a libertarian party.
I always use “leftist” or “the left”.
Never-Trumpers can not be trusted. He came around when Trump stayed he was moving the US embassy in israel. I think some jewish American people support israel over the US.
Ah but it gives those deciding who gets what tremendous power.
Of course they also need to be amply rewarded for their efforts...
I’ve been calling them leftists lately too. Most of them are hardly liberal since they are so intolerant of opposing views.

So true. I had a progressive tell me just the other day that they want progress, they aren’t looking back to a “perfect past” like the conservatives. This helps them call us racists and homophobes. But look at what progressives want! To SHUT DOWN most forms of progress, whether industrial or social.
The framework for a free progression of society is in our constitution. Without the framework of freedom of the individual, without Gd, how would one be able to tell whether a new direction was progressive at all, or just a new way to control your fellow citizens? Where do you find the definition of progress?
Hillary said 40% of Democrats are Socialists. She forgot to mention that the remaining 60% of Democrats are Communists.
