Uncle Rhabdo from rhabdomyolysis...
To each their own, Crossfit isn’t my thing.
“Whether youre a CrossFit junkie or not, youve probably seen the headlines claiming the fitness craze is to blame for extreme numbers of rhabdomyolysis cases. The condition is brought on by extreme exercise that causes muscle breakdown that can lead to kidney damage. But before you cancel your CrossFit membership, keep in mind that the condition is incredibly rare, and Rhabdo (as its nicknamed) isnt exclusive to CrossFit by any stretch of the imagination.”

The more physical fitness out there though, I think that’s good, near me, we have a “Vertical Endeavors”, you are able to climb inside the building, they have this new chain called “9 round kickboxing”, you go into these places and they have some sort of exercise, first one’s free I think. So, overall, I think this is good.
We’ve got a crossfit gym in what is largely, a warehouse area. I’m thinking a bit out loud here, but I went up to the door to look at their hours opened. And it was kind of odd, in that they are only opened a few hours a day. I don’t see how a business can survive doing that.
They might have something like 10-2 on Saturdays, 11-2 on weekdays and a few at night. Let it suffice to say, I thought the hours were uncommon.
I recall multiple people getting rhabdo & heat stroke, pissing their pants and passing out. Totally worth $150...
