There’s no evidence VJ speaks Farsi. She lived in an English-speaking conclave in Iran from birth to around age four when her American parents moved on to London.
Her Wikipedia entry says that as a child she spoke both French and Persian. Persian = Farsi. The entry includes a citation to an article that I have not read. So before accusing fellow Freepers of making a baseless comment, how about doing a few seconds of research?
