“Lets give credit where credit is due: It was Cruz that nailed him in the debate for repeating the same canned response over and over ... and then he was so flustered he did it again. Heheheh.”
That was Christie.
Hmmm.... fell asleep right before getting to your comment about back burner items. I may need to ping you a little later for a consult. (That will be after morning coffee)
[Private First Class Bradley (Chelsea) Manning stole 251,000 State Department documents, many of them secret international embassy reports.]
DEMOCRAT SENATE candidate qualifications.

Yes, I know. His greatest moment ... and I misremembered it as Cruz.
I recall at the time Dec was considered to be “ten days of darkness” ...
Tehran having setbacks is good news with coffee.
I had been missing ME reports also but I have not missed the fighting I was having to wade thru during my “catch-up” time. And that remark is not placing all blame on the posters that no longer seem to be here. But catching up to the posts late was like returning home from a long day’s work and being the parent hit with all the neighborhood kids fighting. I’m enjoying the peace but wish some super FreeQs were still sharing info.
I remember reading years ago that Jimmy Carter was hand selected to run for president by one of the bad actor organizations. After looking at his record and the liberal/progressive/socialist/anti-American record, it really seems likely.

Great article, LS (aside from a couple of typos, e.g., “sover”).
It was never outlandish to think Trump could win—a master of the media with off-the-charts charisma ... a CEO in (ahem) capitalist America ... a billionaire willing to self-fund ... a true patriot and showman.
From the outset, he was many times the candidate Ross Perot, who nevertheless may have had a shot if he had not dropped out, and if he had picked a VP candidate who could help him.
It was the FAKE NEWS that said Trump had no chance ... most of us just did not realize yet that the news could be completely fabricated and not just slanted by bias.
So ... you are EXACTLY ON TARGET to point out that the DS would have begun moving against Trump far earlier than is usually presented.
I think this is an important contribution to the analysis of Spygate.
Q
I agree with your assessment of Ted Cruz. Would love him on the Supreme Court but am very happy to have him as my Senator.
How could you? Christie is twice the man that Cruz is, in one way!

Check out who is running against Republican Representative Dave Brat in Virginia.

I read some excellent commentary today (CTH?). The comments on the article pointed out that perhaps Rush is NOT on our side. Apologies to all the Rush fans out there. But bear with me and consider....
Rush goes on and on and on telling us how the left views us. “The left thinks you are [negative adjective].” “The left thinks you are a [negative noun].” He says this CONSTANTLY. What varies is the noun or adjective he inserts. This has the effect of CONSTANT put-downs of us conservatives, but in a backhanded way.
It’s like your supposed friend that reassures you that he/she’s your friend but is always making remarks like, “Did you know that so-and-so said you were fat/stupid etc.?” “I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but so-and-so was badmouthing you yesterday at that party you weren’t invited to and said ....”
That is not what real friends do.
This has the effect of a backhanded or secondhand putdown every time you listen to Rush.
I’ve never been a big fan. I don’t like the way he lectures to his audience as if they are too stupid to know things or figure things out themselves. He is far too condescending for my taste. This is one more reason for me to avoid him. (I listen once in a while just to find out what he’s saying. Similarly I listen to leftwing radio / NPR to find out what they are saying. That doesn’t mean I agree with them.)
I think that conservatives need to stick together and support each other. Rush is not supporting us. He only wants us to support him.

Here’s some Yuuuge news: Saudi Arabia is canceling all contracts with German companies over Germany’s decision to stick with some version of the Iran deal.
The battle lines are being drawn for the takedown of the Mullahs, and our side includes the most important ME allies.
This is ALL DUE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP—who made his very first foreign trip to SA, where he was treated with respect never shown to Zero, and where he solidified the opposition to Iran centering on Saudi Arabia and Israel.
On the other hand, PDJT continues to smoke out the FALSE FRIENDS, such as the EU. These people are globalists and communists. THEY ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS, especially Merkel.
Yes, certainly add election fraud and the illegals voting to lists of topics to call our legislators about. We each need to make some notes to remember these topics to request they investigate. I may be wrong and welcome input but it seems to me if I resolve to call Congressmen every few days perhaps it will have more impact if I address no more than 3 items per call. I think with a large number of freepers calling at least once/week we can make an impact.
Borrowing from the Alinsky Rules,
“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
“A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
“Keep the pressure on.”
We can enjoy calling in these barbs to our legislators. It took me less than 5 minutes to make 7 calls. And by resolving to call often we keep the pressure on.
I welcome other topic suggestions as I am planning to make another call tomorrow or Wednesday. (Day-long committment already on tomorrow’s calendar)
