I recently was at a family gathering for my granddaughter’s HS graduation.
You’d think it would be the young ones on the phone, but surprisingly the 40 something’s we’re the worst.
I turned mine off. Life is too short.

I’ve had the same experiences. I can tell grandkids to put the phone down and visit. My mom, brothers etc, can’t tell them. They just go on scrolling FB. Or after 2 minutes pick up their phone to find a picture or meme to show me. I’m not on FB, twirter, instachat etc but when they all shut me out with those I do end up scrolling FR or reading a book. I miss the family domino games. There was a lot of real conversation amongst the domino chatter.

And, I don’t even feel this random comment veers far from Q because if us folks don’t learn to reconnect sharing information, we’ll be right back to being DS slaves shortly. I think I’m preachin to the choir but RED PILLING needs to be a lifestyle.
