I just copied/pasted, which is what I always did until today, and the Q drops worked just fine. I see I will have to re-assess how I copy. What does

What does < pre > < /pre > do?

It helps to preserve the formatting. However, when I've used it, it didn't create live links, but showed the URL as text (which people can still use by copying and pasting into their browsers).

But, it's better than nothing for quick copying and pasting without adding a lot of HTML.
