Katy Perry’s going to tell it like it is! The 33-year-old pop star opened up to ET’s Lauren Zima about this weekend’s biggest event – the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – during Sunday’s night one of the "American Idol" finale.
“I would have done one more fitting,” Perry quipped of Markle’s stunning Givenchy gown. “I’m never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you.”

It IS an ugly dress. It looks like a Simplicity pattern. It certainly does not flatter the wearer. The big deal of the whole ensemble is the veil. Yuck.

The dress was so plain and severe. Needed some embellishment at the neckline of the dress, or maybe a stunning diamond choker at her neck, or alternately a big, chunky glittering brooch off to one side??? And it was an exact replica of the dress Jennifer Lopez wore in a movie (Maid in Manhattan I think). Loved the veil, tho’. Reminded me of that long, long train on Diana’s dress. Surprised me that it wasn’t tinted with some shade...it is her 3rd time at bat, so to speak, so I agree it should probably not have been white. The bride herself looked lovely, and happy and conducted herself well..
It was really good I told my husband that was one of the best programs I had seen on TV in a while.
Does Katy still have the Lesbo haircut?
If you’re going to wear a very plain wedding gown, the fit should be PERFECT, and it wasn’t. The bodice was too loose and the overall effect was that the gown was made out of thick heavy material.
The dress cost over 200,000 pounds!!! Sorry, but Givenchy took advantage of the situation, there’s no way that dress is worth two hundred thousand pounds.
Meghan was trying to look as virginal as possible, mainly because she knows the dumpster fire known as her life is pretty sleazy.
Here is something really ugly and nasty wearing an awful dress.
I swear, whenever I see Adam Schiff, I think of Stephen Stucker.
I’m impressed the wedding gown didn’t have big holes and gaps in it. Hopefully, this puts an end to THAT fashion trend.
BTW, is it just me, or did Markle look like Wallis Simpson in a few shots?
At least Kankles acknowledges she has a horrible body and elephant ankles and attempts to cover up. The only thing she overlooked was wearing a bag over her head LOL.
Speaking of someone who REALLY needs to cover up—Chewbacca is now tipping the scales at around 263 pounds. I saw a photo of her since her major weight gain—yikes! She literally looks twice the size of wimpy Bath House Barry.
Re the Meghan photo side by side with the Katy photo—you can actually see Meghan’s nipples through the wedding gown, she has very small saggy boobs!!
